We're
not just talking about an olie or a
kick-flip... we're talking about your life! Well, it's time to find out how! God
is calling all people--including skaters-- to repent! That just means to turn
around. If your life is heading down a dead-end street, then you need to do a
180 and turn to God, who is preparing streets of gold for you. Revelation 21:21
God loves you so much that He sent His Son to die for you. You can check out the
links to the Bible yourself. John 3:16 And something radical is that He died
even though He knows that we are sinners... Romans 5:8 Yeah, it's true, we're
all sinners! Whether it's skating where you're not supposed to or just getting
mad at your parent, we all do lame things. The Bible says we're all stuck on the
same short ramp. Romans 3:23. The biggest bummer about our sin is that it separates us from God Romans 6:23 And death means an eternal separation from God... It's like a gigantic gap that no-one can jump. But the cool thing is God loved us so much that He provided a bridge across the gap between God and sinful man. That's why He sent His Son Jesus to die: to pay the price for our sins.1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Jesus Christ bridges the gap that separates us from God, by His death on the cross and the fact that he was raised from the dead. We are on a ramp and God has provided the flat bottom. He has taken the first step. Now you have to decide to drop in and trust that Jesus is there to support you. That’s called “faith.” Faith is believing that Christ is the only one who can bridge the gap. Accepting God is no more difficult than dropping in on a ramp. It just takes guts. Would you like to drop in on faith and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior? Would you like to know for sure that you have eternal life with the God who loves you? John 5:24 If so, then do a 180... NOW! Turn to God through prayer. Ask Him to be your Savior; but only if you mean it, because God knows your heart.
Here's a simple prayer to pray, all you have to do is ask Him, and believe. “Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I take this step of faith and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.
